Mac is a US Army Veteran and worked as a Physician’s Assistant for 30 years before he became an investment consultant in 2002. Now instead of helping people with their physical health, he is helping them with their financial health.
He received his Series 6* and 63* in 2002. Then he received his Series 7* and Group 1 insurance license in 2003. He is also a Dave Ramsey SmartVestor Pro.**
Mac has been a member of Bethany Lutheran Church for 25 years, serving on church council for two terms, one of those terms as President. He has also served on several committees, including two terms on the Finance Committee. Mac served two terms on the Gillespie County Historical Society Board and three on the Board of the Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce, one as Board Chair.
He presently serves on the boards of the Gillespie County Appraisal District, Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country, and the City of Fredericksburg Board of Adjustments. He is a 2004 graduate of Gillespie County Leadership program. Mac enjoys reading, hunting, fishing and golf.
